Ingredients

  • 3–4 tbsp Fabalish Basil Aioli
  • 2 slices of your favorite sandwich bread (we love sourdough or seeded multigrain)
  • 1 cup crisp arugula, rinsed and dried
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced (use a mandoline if you’re feeling fancy)
  • 1 cup broccoli sprouts or alfalfa sprouts
  • Optional: squeeze of lemon, salt + pepper, olive oil drizzle

Directions

1. Prep your bread Lightly toast your bread for that perfect crisp-yet-chewy bite. Optional: rub with a raw garlic clove for extra flavor.

2. Build the layers. Spread a thick layer of Fabalish Basil Aioli on both slices of bread.
Layer on sliced avocado, then cucumber, then a fluffy pile of sprouts and arugula.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and if you’re feeling it, a squeeze of lemon or a tiny drizzle of olive oil.

3. Close it up. Top with the other slice of bread and press gently.
Slice in half (diagonal for drama, obviously).

4. Serve + enjoy. Serve immediately with a pickle, some kettle chips, or a side of fruit.
